Site 64 is one of the best in the campground because it is only about 75ft from the river with a scenic river view, and about 30ft from the bathrooms, and short walk to the amenities of Camp Curry. Most importantly, the entire #64 camp site is on higher elevation so for example it did not flood in July 2023 whilst the lower ground neighboring sites #62 and #63 flooded completely. The RV parking lane must be close to 40 ft in protected length and I think at least a 35 ft RV could easily maneuver into that parking lane. Only negative about site #64 is it is VERY sunny, entire site has little shade from trees. During ~90F high temp sunny days the bearproof lockers get so hot inside that - in one day - it will completely melt 20 lbs of ice inside a good Coleman ice cooler. Best to pack a bit of DRY ICE with your cube ice in a big ice cooler when visiting this site on hot days.

Not the first time visiting Yosemite but first time camping at Yosemite. Well it was beyond awesome! Not worrying about returning home on same day allow us to casually walk around whole valley without any stress. Site is perfectly situated and can visit most popular sites by walking, biking, and taking free bus rides. We loved it and highly recommend.
