Staff in the kiosk were super friendly and helpful. I was expecting mayhem with the shutdown but seemed like everyone was respectful and keeping the park clean. The bathrooms were clean, didn’t see hardly any trash around, so very grateful that people were being respectful. Thank you for all the hard work the staff and volunteers were doing, much appreciated. North Pines is my favorite campground so thankful I was able to experience our beautiful Yosemite once again.

Camp ranger was excellent in making sure we were comfortable with neighbors and how to ask for help. He checked on us a few times and went out of his way in communication.
The campground was clean and we will definitely be back.

Absolutely my favorite campgrounds in the Yosemite Valley. Thank you so much for the staff and volunteers working through the shutdown. The stay was incredible. Some not great people tried to steal a campsite from our campsite neighbors and then blamed it on the shutdown but rangers dealt with the situation and kicked them out of the park. Thank you.

North Pines is definitely the nicest if you want to be further away from the road and want to be close to the river. Site 400 is great if you have a taller rig with solar panels as there is no overhang. Shade available if you have tents back in the trees. Close to the bathroom. And clear view of Half Dome right from the site.
