This is a beautiful campground with stunning views of El Capitan and Half Dome. On a clear night, the sky is absolutely breathtaking. On a full Moon it is surreal. This campground offers clean restrooms, drinking water fountain, and parking spots, and there are plenty of nearby trails that you can easily reach by shuttle.

One of the best places to go to in the winter, everything was very accessible, the park Rangers and the campground hosts were their friendly, professional and helpful. All the facilities were very clean as well. Definitely go back next year or sooner.

There is no place in Yosemite that isn't beautiful. You won't be disappointed by the park, the trails and the scenery. I can say when visiting at this time of year, layer up on the clothing and bedding. Gorgeous, Gorgeous, Gorgeous!

This campsite is the perfect location to walk to many of the Yosemite sights and trails. Nice shade and decent spacing. Bathrooms are ok, but could do with a bit of love.

Good spot. Nice location near Happy Isles trailhead. This exact site is a little tight, but we had 2 cars and a large 4-person tent, and made it work just fine.

I have stayed in Upper Pines twice now and both times have been great! It’s a quick walk to Curry Village and the shuttle, very convenient.
