I love how each site has plenty of room and close to a river. Not all site has flat area for the tent so I considered myself lucky. Super close to gas station and little market to get what you need.

We love Wawona and were so happy to be back camping! The campground is very clean and the park staff are friendly and helpful! We miss Ranger talks in the evening but love that staff were always either walking the grounds or driving by making their presence known.

Nice campground next to a beautiful river with lots of trees and more space and privacy than in Yosemite Valley. Our stay was very quiet. Check out the Wawona historic area, itβs only a minute away and there is a store there for camping supplies.

Our second time staying here--I love this campground. We enjoyed biking the Meadow Loop and swimming/fishing at the Swinging Bridge.

My family had an excellent time here! We brought our 2 year old and there were a lot of other families. Having the river nearby was great for a quick dip. Having the bathrooms there were really helpful too. It was a 30-min drive into the valley. We will definitely come back!

Corner lot fairly close to the bathrooms. Great shade on a hot day but be sure to bring a canopy during warmer days!
