Loved the location and my Space. What would have made it better would have been Better lighting on the Bathrooms and access to Showers.

Loved our stay at Wawona! We stayed in Loop C right by the water, which provided great white noise and is so beautiful to be near. The sites are large - we had 4 adults with 2 pretty large tents and had plenty of room to spare. The rangers are so friendly and provide a lot of helpful information during check-in. The bathrooms were very clean and the market up the road was really convenient for firewood and forgotten items.

I had an amazing stay. This campground is big, so you don't feel like you're shoulder to shoulder with everyone like the others in the park. There are plenty of restrooms and potable water stations; you never have to walk far to reach them. Camp hosts patrol the area.
I won the lottery by picking Site 4C. I was able to set up a large 9x13 tent and a hammock and still have plenty of room. We also had direct access to the river behind us. It's about a 40-minute drive into the valley.

Loved this campground and the location to Chilnualna Falls as well as the Wawona General Store just down the street. A perfect place to stay after staying in the valley as the drive out of the park is just 6 miles or so.

Campground was very hospitable overall. My lot had a lot of big boulders so not the best but there were plenty of flat lots around. Readily available water. Friendly and helpful rangers. Would visit again.

This place was exactly what my family needed. The campsites and restrooms are well maintained. The river next to the campground is gorgeous.
T Mobile and Sprint cell phones did not have service. Verizon did.
I would love to camp here again.
