The only bad thing is your spot next to another.

Loved this campsite - it was very spaced out and quite large. I was able to get a spot near the river.

Great campground. Out site was conveniently located right near a spigot and the bathrooms. Bathrooms have all flushing toilets and running sinks. A beautiful creek running up and down the entirety of the campground. The Valley and glacier point were only 40ish minutes away. Mariposa Grove is only a few miles, and best of all, the Wawona general store carries ice cream and is only a few minutes away. Would 10/10 stay again.

Great site. Wasn't greeted by any camp host and didn't know the rules about generators - so turned it off at 8:50pm, and neighbors were pissed. Wish I would have known the hours, but that's on me for not looking it up before I got there, while I had wifi.
Other than that it was a flat site, right by the river and would love to go back! :)

Great camp grounds with clean bathrooms and water. We loved the flowing river that runs along the campground.

The facility was well kept. The bathrooms were clean and much better than some bathrooms at other sites. They were more than just port-a-potties. They even had mirrors and running water. They also had little toothbrushing stations out front. The location is beautiful and we enjoyed being out of the valley with all the commotion. NEGATIVES: The young man who "welcomed" us at the gate during our first sign-in was incredibly rude & unhelpful. He actually scowled at me and was irritated by my questions. The woman after him was really nice. Unfortunately, first impression are lasting. I didn't feel real welcome. Obviously improvements could be the addition of a shower and at night there was a little ruckus. Some guy had his generator on THE ENTIRE TIME EVEN DURING THE DAYLIGHT HOURS and another camper made a huge deal about it finally around 8PM which I can understand being right next door. That's highly irritating when you come to a camp for peace and quiet. The dumping stations were a little confusing to us. An addition of a couple more so we didn't have to walk way to the other side to dump food scraps/water waste would be great. And lastly, the reservation process was befuddling. There were obviously more than 1/4 of campsites not used but booked and they were prime spots. I would have loved the riverside lots. Im not sure what can be done when people don't show. We had booked a series of nights and were not able to book our first night at that same spot so we had to breakdown and move after the first night which was really annoying. The person who had booked that extra night never showed so we sat and watched the empty lot, slept in a car b/c we didn't want to set up a tent for one night, and were really inconvenienced when we could have spent the night there all along. I almost think if someone doesn't show for their first night a follow up call should be made by the park. BE COOL & CANCEL IF YOU PLAN ON NO SHOWING. Great experience. Highly recommend.

Wawona campground is a lovely place to camp! I wanted to spend the day in the Glacier Point area, hike up Sentinel Dome and enjoy the views of Yosemite Valley below. So it was nice to have a place to rest enjoy the river and trees at the end of the day.
