Beautiful, quiet location by the river. Clean bathrooms. A respite from the busyness of Yosemite Valley.

Overall great experience. Only negative was the bathroom. Not great! Beyond that, it was wonderful. We hope to go back soon. Good job by park staff.

Wawona campground was awesome. About 45 mins to Yosemite Valley. Busy down there, but then we'd return to our campsite, and enjoy the peace & quiet and beautiful river view from our spot. The rangers were very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean. We will definitely stay there again.

Loved staying in Wawona! We don’t love crowded campsites and this one gave us a ton of privacy. We stayed on Loop B at site 41 and it was great!

Many sites will be backwards for door opening, so must come into loop 'wrong way' to be set up right. Campground was nicely situated close to Mariposa Grove and Glacier Point. Our site had easy walk to river to cool off. A negative is dump and potable water fill is about 1.5 miles away.
