Great campsite! We were right by the River which was a lovely sound to fall asleep to. It’s about a 50 minute drive to Yosemite valley which wasn’t a problem for my group. We enjoyed being in an area that wasn’t as heavily populated. The bathrooms were one of the more well maintained campsite bathrooms that I’ve seen. There was running water and soap.

We camped in loop C. The restrooms are close and clean. Lots of dumpsters for trash and recycle. It was a very relaxing and peaceful stay. The camp volunteers at check in were informational , kind and funny. We seen no bears .

I reserved site 016 at Wawona Campground through Recreation.gov, but upon arrival, the site was already occupied by another party. There was no ranger or staff available to help resolve the issue, which was very disappointing. This overbooking caused disruption to my plans and inconvenience. I hope Recreation.gov improves its booking accuracy and on-site support for future visitors.

The workers at the entrance were very helpful. Mariposa Grove was a highlight & very accessible to the campground.

Nice and quiet, space between sites. Not noisy. Very large bear box/pantry. Spaces are well marked.

nice campground Liked the river, but some campsites do not offer much shade or privacy, unfortunately we had one of those. But the majority were not like that and the facility is clean and seems well kept.
