We had a nice riverfront site a short walk to the bathroom. Bathroom was rustic but kept clean. Site was level with plenty of options to put our tents. Overall love to camp in Wawona the first night in the park after the long drive.

First time staying here- loved it! Definitely a drive from the valley but very peaceful and provides close access to other less populated areas of the park that are GEMS

Love this campsite. It is kept clean and it is a great spot to drive into Yosemite Valley & Mariposa Grove. :)

I stayed at the campground for 3 nights. On the first night, some campers were having a party and made a lot of noise until 1 in the morning; no one came to quiet them down. Other than that, everything was great.

signing up for the reservation online was very difficult for me and I even had two rangers helping me. it would be nice if a camper could simply register (if there are open Campspots) at the ranger booth without having to go online.

Loved the campsite! It was especially nice not having any campsites behind us. There’s a bit of a slope but not bad. Close proximity to the restrooms. Will definitely be back!

Policies & Rules
General
- You are responsible for reading the following information and booking a site that will accommodate your equipment.
- If arriving one or more days late, call (209) 375-9535; your reservation will be cancelled if we do not hear from you within 24 hours of your arrival date.
- Bear Habitat! Food and toiletries must be stored in provided food lockers. Absolutely NO food or scented items stored in vehicles. Dispose of garbage immediately in bear-proof dumpsters.
- Potable water at the dump station (located one mile south of the campground) is only available during summer months.
- Resale or auction of advance reservations is prohibited
- For additional park information, call (209)372-0200 or visit www.nps.gov/yose
- Don't Move Firewood: Help protect our forests! Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. Moving firewood is illegal in some states. Visit dontmovefirewood.org to learn more.
- Help Yosemite be a Zero Landfill park! Leave excess packaging at home. Use refillable water and propane bottles, food containers and travel mugs. Place all of your recyclable waste in designated recycling containers. For more information go to: https://www.nps.gov/yose/getinvolved/zlf.htm
