Overall campsite was not bad. Clean bath room, good location near yosemite and river right next to it. But the site we were in was next to major hwy hence very noice with car traffic. Almost like tenting in car pool lane. So get the site away from the road

The location of the campground is perfect, away from the hustle and bustle of the valley but close enough that it doesn’t take long to drive in. Sound sensitive folks just be aware if your site is close to the main road you will hear cars all night & it can be fairly loud.

We stayed at site 75 loop C and it was absolutely perfect. We had a gorgeous view of the river, the campsite was in excellent condition, and the park rangers were very informative and friendly.

Very nice campground, clean bathrooms, most sites seem level for tent camping and plenty spaced out.

Wawona is a great campground in the southern end of Yosemite with many fun activities to do nearby. It is right on the Merced River, which is great for swimming. We did the Wawona Meadows, Chilnualna Falls, and Mariposa Grove hikes which were all beautiful in their own ways - from water features to huge trees. There is a visitor center nearby and it is interesting to learn about this area of the park. It is also less than an hour away from the Valley, which makes for a great day trip! The rangers and the facilities at this campsite were great.
