This campground is way too close to the main road. My campsite was just a few yards away from the group campground which was loud. Confusing signage. Plus - clean bathrooms.

Excellent campground. We were in 44B, which is a very nice camping spot up away from the road and in a quiet area of the B loop. Wawona as a whole was a great experience, significantly quieter and less busy than the valley campgrounds. The volunteers and ranger were incredibly kind and helpful, with excellent hiking recommendations. The nearby Pine Tree Market is remarkably well stocked with anything you could need.

Clean well kept park with easy access to view Sequoia National Park. The only down side is almost all sites are very un-level both directions making it extremely hard to level a RV. Using are largest leveling blocks we were still 1.5 inches off level side to side.

The volunteers were especially helpful, as was the ranger. We stayed in Loop A for 4 nights. Such a beautiful time of year with the fall colors. The camp was clean and roght along the river.

Loved the campground and the campsite, but do not leave your coolers out for any reason if you’re not on the campsite. They are not kidding, no warning given. They will confiscate your coolers WITH our drinks and give you a $205 ticket, THEN get your cooler back. Understand it’s for our safety but would’ve appreciated a warning since not all of us are experienced campers. It’s alright learning as I go, love campsite otherwise.
