What Guests Are Saying
White Wolf Campground is praised for its beautiful location, spacious sites, and proximity to great hiking trails, including those leading to Cloud's Rest and Aspen Valley. While there were complaints about the lack of running water and restrooms, the portable toilets were well-maintained and clean. Many campers appreciated the quiet atmosphere and friendly fellow visitors, making it a favorite choice for future stays.

My first time at his camp. Great location near Tioga road. Our site is one of the best with trees and shadow, but still feels a bit too close to a neighbor one, so you depend on your fellow neighbors to keep quiet. Portable toilets are not super-clean but reasonable, and I wish they had regular toilets open. Overall it's great, I'll be visiting again.

Our campsite was as beautiful as I remembered it to be. All of our neighboring campers were respectful and quiet. It was peaceful and extremely enjoyable. No potable water wasn't a problem since we planned ahead. The portable potties were plentiful and kept clean, no smell and emptied every day. Lots of hand washing stations too. I'm already planning our next stay!

Beautiful area. Close enough to Yosemite Valley to be convenient without being overly busy. Even though the bathrooms were closed, the port-a-potties outside were incredibly clean and even had hand washing stations outside.

Great campground and definitely looking forward to staying again.
Parking was a hot mess with loads of cars parked partially on the road. It was fine for our tiny car to squeeze through, but it would be tough with a big SUV or truck.
Restrooms were still out of commission during our visit, but there were enough portapotties even during popular times. The portapotties and sinks were well maintained and well stocked.
Our only complaint was the people who were 3 hours late to leave our site. Since there is no host or ranger, there's was no way to hurry them along.

Site was great, campground was a comfortable size for such a popular park. As someone who had only previously visited the valley, enjoyed what the north end of the park had to offer. Portable toilets were well maintained, though camp host was off duty and firewood was not sold at the campgrounds.

Overall our experience was good. We were happy to be able to stay within the park even though the camp ground did not have restrooms, we were happy that there were porta-pottys close by with stations to wash hands.

We enjoyed the hikes to Harden Lake and Leuken's Lake from the campground. Lots of wildflowers at the end of July. It is a lovely little campground, but the roads and driveways are in serious need of repair. There is no running water, but the porta potties were cleaned daily and there are several hand washing stations. I suggest you look closely at "need to know" for your site. Site 74 was relatively spacious, however there was very little shade.
