The roads in the campground were in poor condition- badly washed out. I realize there were extreme rainfall events last year, but it seems like it is time to proceed with repair, even if they are temporary repairs using gravel to infill the gulleys. Several guidebooks mention a "Nature Trail" near the Black Rock Nature Center, with a printed trail guide sheet available at the Nature Center. The rangers at the Nature Center were unable to direct us to the trailhead, and no trail guide pamphlet was available. On the positive side, the bathrooms were clean.

The roads in the campground really need a lot of attention. The price for the site made it bearable. I wish the staff that checked us in were more knowledgable about the area. They were very nice however. Good location next to the Park

There is no campground host. People had bright lights hanging in their campsite. Kids running around at 11p and blowing up mattresses at 11p. The bathrooms were out of toilet paper and soap. There’s no hand dryers or paper towels. The roads were in bad shape. My actual campsite was great. Love the park!

When I went to the campground headquarters I was met by a ranger that gave me a personal, in-depth outline of the campground and surrounding area. I had never encountered a more happy and helpful guide. And the campground was nice too…

The hiking trails are great. Our campsite was not level and it was challenging to get our camper van into a semi-level position. The staff were wonderful and friendly.
