Black Rock is a fantastic park. Scenery is amazing, wild life was a treat (serenade by owls, wild hares running about, plants were all in bloom. Camp site was spacious. The only drawback was we didn’t plan our stay long enough to really explore Joshua Tree National Park. We will be back.

Great campground. Large sites and lots of room between sites. Fabulous views of the desert and great hikes from the campground. Not too far from town or the park entrance. Highly recommend

Campgrounds are clean and bathrooms cleaned daily. Roads throughout the campground are in need of total repair. They are in terrible condition and shape. All campsites need to be regraded level and improve drainage throughout.
