What Guests Are Saying
Lakeview Gunnison offers stunning views and excellent fishing opportunities, making it a popular choice for campers. Many reviews highlight the cleanliness of the campsites and restrooms, as well as the friendliness and helpfulness of the camp hosts. However, some concerns have been raised regarding the condition of the roads and water access, as well as overcrowding from dispersed camping and larger RVs, which may detract from the overall experience.

Lakeview campground has been an awesome place for the fifty years I have been camping at Taylor Park. My only complaint is it is showing her age. Our campsite #66 was overrun with weeds. Also the campground is called Lakeview and from most sites pine trees block view of lake. The view of mountains is spectacular it would be nice if it included lake views. Taylor Park is the best place to camp it is time for campground to live up to the area.

Watching campers, motorhomes and trailers drive up and down the road looking for the campsite numbers was both frustrating and bothersome. There was only one sign that gave camp site numbers with a direction sign and it was so general it was hardly helpful. Each loop needs to be labeled with the camp site numbers on that loop. Only one way in and out on dead end loops with big campers makes it dangerous for everyone. In spite of those logistics, we had a good time camping.

We were in site #68 site was level for our 30' trailer with a nice distant form other camp sites and beautiful view of Taylor Reservoir. The only down side was having to pay to dump in addition to camp site. We will be back.
