What Guests Are Saying
Lakeview Campground offers a peaceful and beautiful setting with helpful and friendly hosts, clean facilities, and great access to outdoor activities like hiking and fishing. Many visitors appreciate the spacious sites and scenic views, making it a favorite camping spot. However, some concerns were raised about road conditions and noise from generators, which detracted from the overall experience for a few guests.

Overall a good experience. Nothing special. Killer view from space 21. Better signage would be an improvement to spaces 1-27. Closer dump station than Tincup, but not too big of a deal. We’d recommend.

I made reservations for late Sept using the online system which showed that only 2 nights were available, then after that all days were marked as FF, meaning that they could not be reserved. I thought that would be fine, and intended to stay a full week. However, upon arrival, the camp host never came by until the 3rd day when she came to rudely inform us that we had to leave because someone else had the site reserved for that night. When I questioned how that was possible, she informed me that "certain people" can reserve after the dates shown on the website! AND, she went so far as to say that if we didn't move, she would call the sheriff. So beware if you are not one of those CERTAIN persons!!! Had she done her job and come to see us right away, the whole thing could have been avoided as we would have known from the beginning and chosen another site. There is something wrong with a system that lets certain people make reservations that others cannot make, and are not aware of.

Helpful, friendly staff, always making rounds. Restrooms spotless. Large sites, beautiful lake views, yet on the hillside away from traffic. Perfect mountain experience!
