What Guests Are Saying
Elk Creek Campground is highly praised for its beautiful setting, well-maintained facilities, and friendly hosts who actively engage with guests. The campground itself was MAGICAL, but it got REALLY cold at night. Check out the night temperatures before you schedule! We stayed at Site 009, which was beautiful but the creek was not visible. Sites 13 and 14 are just by the creek and they look fantastic!

Loved this trip. The sites were spaced out nicely, the bathrooms were clean and it was a well kept site. Definitely will be going again. My husband caught fish every day we were there.

The location is superb: hike Duck Lake and the Elk Creek Trails, walk along the Conejos, or take a drive up FR 250 toward Platoro for additional hiking. The campsites are well spaced out.
