First off Michael was a fantastic host! Went above and beyond to help us have a great stay. We had booked site 23 which is listed as creek side. It isn’t. It is a tiny shady site squeezed in between 2 roads. Don’t stay there. Because the upper loop wasn’t fully booked we were able to change to an amazing site.

Very clean, quiet, beautiful. Trash had not been emptied. I hate that the area has no cell phone service for miles. Just scary at our age. Love all the trees!

The lower loop of the Aspen Glade campground is right along the Conejos River. The campground is clean and has a very friendly campground host. We enjoyed walking the trail along the river and exploring the Elk Creek Trail nearby. We’ll go back for sure.

This campsite is fantastic! I highly recommend a site in the upper loop or down by the river. Lots of trees and shade.

Our camp host Michael made our experience amazing. When we booked our trip months ago we thought we booked a space next to our friends but the 2D map didn’t show that the campground was really divided into an upper and lower loop and rather than being right next to eachother, our friends were a 10 min walk away! The lower loop was more shaded and closer to the water. Michael worked hard to get us moved to a vacant space near our friends! He is one of your best camp hosts!! Keep him and make sure he is taken care of!! Otherwise, the campground was awesome, restrooms were very clean and the setting was quiet and peaceful!!

This campground was absolutely beautiful, the site we were at 006, LOPA was not so great, was not a good flat spot to put a tent up on and lots of rocks but overall we really liked the campground itself and it looked like most of the other sites were better. Was beautiful, had good shady areas, fun to explore the river and the campsite was kept very tidy and bathrooms clean.
