No cellular, a few miles to town. A really wonderfully spaced-out campground, one of the best in Colorado for sure.

Good campground, however I believe our site was without a doubt the worst site in the whole campground, any other site would've been better. 43 is like an old parking area that is on a trail. There are no aspens or trees in this site, it's a wide open sandpit essentially. Great campground but beware, 43 is NOT a good camp site.

The campground was the best I’ve experienced! It was beautiful, quiet and comfortable, with lots of privacy
I rented an e-bike in Aspen for a ride up to the Maroon Bells - spectacular!!

For being right outside of Aspen this is an awesome campground! Quiet, clean, great hosts, and peaceful. Pro tip: to get into town for free, park and rent a free public bike just outside the city using the We-cycle program at Riverside and 82. Was a great way to camp and explore the city on a budget.

Great private sites, nice wooded areas. Bathroom could’ve been better, worse than some of the other sites I stayed this visit.
However, would recommend this campground highly.

We had a lovely experience at Difficult Campground the end of September. It was a great place to stay for the night since we had an evening pass to drive to Maroon Bells. Our campsite was large, peaceful and clean!

Great campground. Nice sized private spaces, well kept grounds. The bathrooms were a little gross compared to other campsites I stayed this visit.
