Beautiful part of Colorado for camping. You definitely feel like you're "out there" even though it's just about 90 minutes from Denver. The campgrounds are nice. Lots of trees and shrubs. Some of the spots are more level than others and there is quite a bit of erosion on the road and in certain parking spots. The camp hosts did a great job of keeping all the sites super clean. If you need cellular service (I did - sad, I know) you can drive 3 miles east up to a spot that is sort of a picnic spot and get full bars there.

Always lives up to expectations! Only gripe is Buffalo Creek area itself is often very hot and prone to flies at times.

Beautiful location, we had a great time. However, the description of the place suggested there were place to do fishing nearby. All the places near the creek seemed to be inaccessible due to being in private land.
