Had a great time. Actually had an amazing time. Love the new riverside yurts. They look wonderful. We can't wait to come and visit again!!! Love LOVE Love the fire place in the rocks under the tent. Looks like a fantastic place to BBQ and have a great gathering after rafting with with a bunch of your closest friends!

You couldn’t ask for a better guide. Cody was the best!!! Wonderful experience for our big family group! Would definitely recommend this experience to anyone, even if you are scared to death or water. Cody made the experience very enjoyable!!!

Not sure where to start. My wife and I have been wanting to do this river trip for years. We read the reviews and decided to go with AAE and glad we did.
AAE has a brief mandatory sit-down with each group then the rest is up to you and yours. I won't preach but pay attention to your guide because they know whats coming.
Our guide was Curtis and we could not have asked for better. He kept us safe, moving, and entertained. He shared that after 10 years with AAE that he is moving on to a new career and we've no doubt he will be a success. If Curtis is any indication, AAE chooses it's people well.

We will be back with more of our family next time.

From the beginning, American Adventure Expeditions was a great experience. I contacted a month ahead to find out pricing for a large group. We were given a discount that included wetsuits and booties! We started with 29 people. The cancellation policy was explained and followed when one member of our group had to bail out at the last minute. We were provided with the waiver link ahead of time so the majority of our group completed the easy online waiver in just a few quick minutes before arriving. We arrived 45 minutes early and were greeted with smiles! We had 4 rafts of 7 members of our party and a guide. The trip was a great adventure. One raft flipped (of our 4 in our party) and they were handled with total care! Everyone said they had a great time. Reid was the guide in my boat and was a blast. He was a great leader and had great conversation with us. The river itself was beautiful, cool and the views of the Royal Gorge, Bridge, Train etc were wonderful. Overall, outstanding experience. Thank you to Reid (our guide), Sunshine (for scheduling) and the long-haired man in charge who's name I didn't catch but who provided us a gift of candles in a twinkie-style dessert to celebrate our first day of marriage!

Great Tour, Wonderful Guide and Excellent Value. Wonderful staff at the store helped us before and after the trip. Totally recommend AAE without any reservations whatsoever. Very upfront and honest about risks we take while engaged in Whitewater activities.
