Daughter, dog and I loved this picturesque campground. Beautiful picnic sites down by the creek that leads to the lake. Nice bear food lockers. We had to hike down a flight of stairs to our campsite but it was not a big deal. Very quiet.

Beautiful surroundings and good campsites. However, this year, the vault toilets poorly maintained. In previous years, campground management/hosts were always welcoming, friendly and helpful. That was not the case this year. Management never spoke to us. Some of them always looked crabby no matter what.

The good: camp hosts were super nice and informative. Campsite was clean.
The bad: campsite 3 and 4 are not separated far enough and there’s little privacy between the camps. Choose campsite 1 or 2 instead. Contacting the camp host/ campground was nearly impossible prior to the trip and I had to call around 7 Different times before finally getting the correct person.
Overall I’m not sure if I would stay here again. This is a spot for people with large families and children. It’s loud and busy. Which is fine. But if that’s not what you’re looking for- look elsewhere.
