Disappointed no water but hosts made up for any inconvenience. Had to go about 1/2 mile up the hill toward Rye to get cell coverage.

Very nice shaded area, large trees perfect for hammocks. Clean and the park rangers are kind and very helpfull. I reserved sites 5 and 6 for my granddaughters 13th birthday party she said it was the best party of her life. I like that it's pet friendly with no extra charge. Very nice lake to spend time with family and friends.

Why a great camp. The hill up there from I25 is a bit steep but it is well worth it. We had Mule Deer Buck fighting each other in our backyard and the camp staff was very friendly and helpful. The electricity works as advertised. Our campsite had a fairly steep incline but nothing that a piece of firewood under the nose jack did not fix. Fishing is so so in the lake but there is fish. The little restaurant in town is good for an evening dinner.

We liked the campground & enjoyed our experience. Higher ratings if it had a shower, or at least something near by, since we have a little pop-up. The toilets were clean & didn't smell, that's a real plus. We liked our campsite & the other campers were fairly quiet. Nice view of the lake from our site & we were able to hike around. It's a short drive over to Bishop's Castle, which was interesting. We will probably go back some day, it's only a couple of hours from our house.
