Far from the maddening crowd and the high temps of summer, there are places , such as St. Charles CG where Peace and Quiet are some of the first things you take note of. Love this spot..

We love this campground. We have been going there many years and enjoy the beauty and simplicity. There is good hiking and a lovely walk to Lake Isabel. Our camp host was excellent.

Getting There
From Pueblo, go 25 mi south on I-25 to exit 74. Drive west 18 mi on state Highway 165. Turn into the main entrance at Lake Isabel Recreation Area and drive to Forest Road 374, the second left. Follow signs to the campground.
