The Bank Campground offers a clean and spacious environment, with beautiful views and well-maintained facilities, including pit toilets stocked with essentials. It's a quieter, slightly remote location ideal for relaxation, with friendly and helpful camp hosts. While access roads can be rough and the reservation system needs improvement, many campers appreciate the overall experience and plan to return.

Camp host was amazing. First time ever camping out in CO. When we arrived a day early, he informed us and brought us up to speed on how everything works. Camp ground was in fantastic shape and the view was incredible! We ended up camping on BLM just outside the camp and we never made it to our site. 10/10 recommend!

Camping at the Bank for climbing at Shelf Road is a wonderful - plenty of room here tween campsites, beautiful surroundings and an easy walk to the crags. Wonderful!

For those with Vans - the "B"-loop or inner sites in the "A" loop is a much flatter experience. It is quiet there midweek in the fall.

The site was lovely. A better picture on the website would have been nice. I had to back in, which was difficult.

Amazing views and great camping spot. Only warning is to make sure you have a screenshot of the directions to the site because Apple and Google Maps don’t work well with the location.

We stayed at our usual spot at the Bank A2. I have a slide-in truck camper and that site allows us to back in providing stunning views out the back door and easy access to the site. We were there Sunday evening through Friday morning in order to avoid the crowds, which was very successful. This was in part due to above average temperatures but we were able to find aspects that were in the shade pretty much all day being willing to walk to the different crags as the sun left them. We pretty much had all the crags to ourselves while climbing and at the campground when not. Great times.

5 out of 5 for views but don't plan on having access to restrooms. My husband and I walked around to every bathroom in the area and there were 100+ flies in each. My husband held the door open to try to air them out to no avail. There were leftover over stakes from previous campers because the ground was so hard to set up camp in. On top of the leftovers towels in the bushes, there were ants that wanted to make our tent the ant hill (lol) and 1.1 million mosquitoes. Don't expect there to be a camp host (not that that matters too much) but it would be nice to know someone cares about the condition of the property. If you DO need to use the restroom drive 15 minutes down the hill though. Again, 5 out of 5 for views. Beautiful & quiet.
