One of our favorite places to camp. You are able to walk to the lake where there is great fishing. Older kids can roam safely. The host is always great and bathrooms are always clean.

This is the first visit to Big Meadows & we thoroughly enjoyed it. The campsites were spacious,level, clean & well maintained. It was nice that the firepit had a grill. The host was informative, available & excellently maintained the bathrooms. The hike around the lake was well marked.

Big Meadow is a great place to dry camp. This year was challenging due to the water shortage that effecting large parts of Colorado as well as the burn ban.

This is a beautiful campground. If you are not there for fishing, stay in one of the higher spots. We stayed in 42 which had a beautiful view .
