We've gone to Big Meadows Reservoir almost every year for at least 7 years. We LOVE it. It is well maintained and we love what it offers. Thank you for providing this wonderful place for us to camp.

This is a nice area to camp at. Saw lots of wildlife but didn’t catch many fish. Lots of chipmunks too. I wouldn’t really recommend this particular site (11) for a camper unless it is small. We had a 32 ft 5th wheel and had lots of difficulty backing it in (with a very experienced driver!). Was even wondering if we could even do it. Eventually got it backed into the site and set up and had plenty of room for all our outdoor things. There’s plenty of other sites to choose from that aren’t narrow, angled or going uphill. The site itself was pretty flat though so that was a positive but getting into it would make me caution other campers.

The camp host was not very accessible. The site was at the out edge and steep with the picnic table elevated above the parking site. The one water source was slow. Overall, the site was ok for a one-night stop over but not very usuable.

Water pressure is going down. You can only get water at 3 lower faucets. Bad planning when the campground was completely redone all new water lines but did not drill deep enough. Still one of the best places to camp, fishing it always great!

The campground host, Oscar, was very helpful when my trailer door lock malfunctioned and I had to get a locksmith to come to the campground.

Campground is clean and well maintained. The lake is a favorite of mine to paddle on and fish. Wonderful weekend!
