What Guests Are Saying
Island Lake Campground is well-maintained with clean sites and friendly hosts who are attentive and accommodating. The beautiful setting near the lake offers excellent fishing and hiking opportunities, making it a relaxing getaway. However, access can be challenging due to construction, with rough, narrow roads and some sites being uneven, which may not accommodate larger RVs easily.

Great, quiet hide-a-way in the trees near lots of water and views. Depending on the season be prepared for mosquitoes, but most sites have plenty of shade.

The campground is clean and the setting is beautiful. The camp host, Rita, was extremely helpful. Without her we would have been in trouble. I booked campsite #15 double, which is supposed to be for up to 4 vehicles with a 40' long driveway and up to 16 people. NOT TRUE. It is basically a regular site that they ask double the money for. Rita said that it happens all the time so she has 2 first come first serve sites that she immediately offered us; we ended up camping at 15 and our friends across the street at 17. Restroom are clean and overall the experience was great after I got over been mad about the misrepresentation of the site on the reservation website.
