What Guests Are Saying
Jumbo Campground is a beautiful and well-maintained site with friendly hosts and stunning scenery, making it a favorite for campers. Visitors appreciate the clean facilities, ample hiking trails, and nearby lakes for fishing and exploring. While there are some concerns about the odor from the vault toilets and limited food options, the overall experience is positive, with many guests eager to return.

We loved this campground! We only stayed one night in mid-August, but the weather was really nice, just a little warm in the day, but cool enough at night, no need for sleeping in socks :) No showers, but bathrooms were clean, and water spigots nearby. There were lots of lovely little ponds nearby to explore, but the bugs were really not bad at all (I was nervous due to some reviews, but it was not an issue). No fires allowed but the weather was nice enough that it wasn't an issue as far as keeping warm, just a loss of camping ambience, but still a beautiful spot and such a lovely haven from the heat of the valley and everywhere else down below. We would definitely come back!

Was very nice stay, camp host was informative and let us know about a resident bear that was in the area. The one night we stayed a bear did come into our campsite and tried to open the door on our motorhome. Be bear aware.

Jumbo campsites and the bathrooms were very clean! The hosts were friendly and available. The weather was so much cooler than the valley and the scenery is stunning. There are a vaiety of hikes and when the Mesa Lakes Loidge is open, it's a great place to stop by for food and drink.
