Jumbo Campground is a beautiful and well-maintained site with friendly hosts and stunning scenery, making it a favorite for campers. The toilets smelled of ammonia, very overwhelming. We couldn't stay in there long enough to do our business. It's too bad because that's such a beautiful area. Ammonia is toxic for humans to breath, I hope this can be fixed.

The campground is well located, close to fishing, clean and quiet. The camp hosts were friendly and helpful. Be advised, the “store/restaurant” is open only Thurs through Sunday. If you need ice, supplies of any sort, or want to buy a shower during the days they are closed, you are SOL. Get gas before you get up there. Plan and pack your meals well - there are very few food items for sale even when the store is open. There IS ice cream, though, and it’s good.

This is a beautiful campground. It is extremely quiet and peaceful. The sites are clean, well-maintained, and our particular site was perfectly level (thank you!). We had no issues with our 33' 5th Wheel Trailer and ¾-ton truck.
The hiking trails and lakes around the campground were fantastic. We stayed for two nights, but I wish we could have stayed longer.

One of our favorite campgrounds! Sites and bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. Plenty of space between campsites, with lots of tall pine trees, bushes, and wildflowers. The path to the Mesa Lakes area makes it easy and convenient to access fishing and enjoy the walking paths. As a camping guest, you get free parking at the Mesa Lakes parking area.

Site # 6 has more space between sites than some of the others. Level site for easy set up. Love the close lakes for fishing and walking. Hiking trails are beautiful. My only complaint is the chemical they use in the vault toilets is over-powering and bad.
