West Dolores is a favorite of ours! Remote, but totally and easily accessible. The camp host, Blaine, was a great host and very helpful. We hope to return later this year.

Beautiful small campground. The sound of the river lulled us to sleep.

Nice campground however almost 1/2. Of campground was available without reservation. We needed electric and would pay the increased cost but we’re denied because we had already reserved. We had to pay double the reserved site plus the non occupied electric site. The host said he was not allowed to make changes. This campground was less than 50% full over Friday through Sunday. I think we should have been accommodated the change in sites and not had to pay double. Not to mention theh 30 minutes to drive from campground to closest town with cell service to call recreation. Gov who also could not help. Takes the fun and affordability out of camping!!
