Beautiful campground. Our favorite. The grounds and lavatory are kept very clean as are the campsites. The camp hosts were especially warm and welcoming and went to extra measures to keep the campground clean and orderly.

We had a terrific time camping at West Dolores Campground. Larry, the host, was a terrific guy and there to help you if you ever needed a hand. Also the bathrooms were the cleanest I have ever experienced while camping. It was a great week in the mountains.

Really small campground which has great campsite privacy and is really quiet. County road to campsite is in poor shape so expect a bumpy ride. Small river/creek at campground not big enough for much use but adds to the ambiance. Could use more electric sites but each site is well equipped with fire ring, table, and level camper pad

This is a great little campground on the West Fork of the Dolores River. It was very quiet and green from recent rains. We did some nice hiking in the area but you need to drive to reach the trailheads.
