Beautiful campsite, located in mature evergreen forest. Host was friendly and very helpful. Campsites were in excellent condition and well maintained. Bathrooms were super clean. The only issue was the very rough and poorly maintained La Plata County road on the way to the campsite.

Beautiful campground and impeccably maintained! Vault toilets were the cleanest and best we’ve seen. Sites were spread out, large, and private. Lots of trees and sites were graded and cleaned after campers departed - hosts were super. Firewood available for purchase, and town is not to far for supplies. Will definitely return for a longer stay (stayed 2 nights)!

The camp hosts are extremely helpful and keep the grounds amazingly clean. The bathrooms were spotless and our area was raked while we were hiking for the day.

Cleanest bathrooms at any campground I've ever been to. And the camp host (Rose I think?) was so helpful at check in and so nice.

Large, flat, private site with great forest access and plenty of room for tents and cars.

This place is amazing! Close to a portion of the Colorado Trail that is absolutely gorgeous. Park staff are awesome. Close to Durango, but you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere. Quiet and perfect!
