The camp hosts were amazing. Very communicative and they recognized me after a couple of days of being there. I felt safe, welcomed, and supported. Also, the vault bathrooms were some of the cleanliest I’ve ever seen.

If you are looking or peace and quiet, this is it! Site C6 was big enough for our 26' trailer and 22' tow vehicle. Spacious sites, with towering Ponderosa pines providing filtered sunshine. Campground is 5 miles from Main Avenue, with the last mile a gravel Forest Service road. Great jumping off place for numerous hiking trails in the area, or exploring Durango. Friendly and helpful camp hosts.

The camp host - Terri- was delightful. The campsite was amazing and since we had an appointment in bayfield, it’s proximity to Durango was ideal. Thank you!
