Beautiful area, great location, nice facilities. Each site had trees to create scenery and privacy.

No trails or water next to campgrounds, but still a nice place to stay.

The campsite was adequate, but I frequently have camped in California where there are enough food storage boxes for each campsite plus spares. At Aspenglen Campground there were only about half the number of food storage boxes for the campsites.

Reservation, check in, site cleanness, parking and amenities were all 5 star. Restrooms in the area varied from newer/well kept and very clean to older and not cleaned in the three days of our stay.
Views and access to the rest of RMNP made this an overall 5 star.

Absolute beautiful! Very clean nice restrooms. Close to Estes Park. Had a nice little walk to the river. We were in B 20 and it was a perfect, spacious, beautiful, private spot, we are definitely coming back!

The ranger was so helpful in getting us a last minute campsite and talking about upcoming vacancies.

Its shameful the meager resources afforded to protect the most beautiful places in our country.

My husband and I absolutely loved the Aspenglen campground! It was very quiet and peaceful, next to the river and the other campsites were far enough away that it felt quite secluded. We enjoyed a roaring fire and loved that we had nice bathrooms, a parking lot, wood and water very close by. We will go as often as we can!

This camping spot (number 7 if I recall) is further away from the road than normal so it is private. Hammocks are allowed at this site and there are plenty of weight bearing trees. The views, even just from the campsite, are incredible! No runing water at individual camp sites just the communal bathroom locations. The communal bathroom locations do not have showers. The animals at the site seem unbothered by our presence. We frequently had deer grazing a few feet from us as we were cooking breakfast. There is a family of chipmunks that live at the particular campsite. The elevation is high and the air is thin, if you're not used to it you can easily wear yourself out. The campsite is relatively close to several trails. Some of which are rather intense, so be prepared. Overall the campsite was clean, well kept, and beautiful. I would absolutely stay there again.
