Stayed at site 91 for 2 nights before moving to site 94. 94 was one of the best for tent only camping. Really nice views, daytime shade and relative privacy. You can't be access to Bear Lake Corridor from Glacier Basin, can't wait to come back.

We stayed on the outskirts of the A-Loop; A30. I recommend staying in either A or B-Loops if you want some trees around you as the other loops are quite exposed and open. The bathrooms are clean and well equipped with flushable toilets, not vaults. The only reason for the minus-one star is that for tent (on the ground) camping, the tent pads are rock, so bring a thick pad. We were not even able to stake our tents due to the pads hardness. There is hiking directly nearby with a trail that access Sprague Lake a short distance away. The site is nice with plenty of room to spread out. It has a picnic table and a fire pit; however, no fires were allowed during our stay and propane stoves only ordinance was in effect. It was busy, but still quiet during the evening hours. I would recommend staying here and will do so again in the future.

This tent site had plenty of room. In fact the picnic table was a little spaced out over to the side. There’s some shade but the back of the site opens onto a mini meadow with no trees on that side so it can get windy. Bathrooms were just across the road and even had a utility sink for dishes

Campsite was great, plenty of room for my tent and there was shade. Bathrooms had flush toilets, you do have to bring your own solar shower to this campground though.

RMNP is glorious and the campgrounds at glacier Basin and Moraine are lively. Unfortunately the vault toilets at Moraine were the most horrific of these two seasoned campers' lives. It was truly traumatic and sickening to have to use them. Worst of all the odor clung to clothing and was nauseating and seemed frighteningly unsanitary.

This was our first time at this campground and we loved it. Bathrooms were clean and easy to get to and not crowded. Camping pads were well maintained and we got a site with trees and shade. Safe, quiet, everyone was nice and our 6yo kiddo met a friend. We took the shuttle to Bear Lake and everything worked out well. It was over the July 4th weekend and it was busy and hard to get space on a shuttle back after hiking to the falls but the staff at every stop were so nice and helpful and made the experience much better than if we were fending for ourselves. Very impressed with the staff and management and the campground was delightful. Definitely would stay again!

Beautiful site! Gorgeous morning sunrise views. Clean facilities. Not much shade. Only issue was the loud, inconsiderate neighbors talking loudly all night. Multiple people pleaded with them to stop talking with no luck.

I love this campground. The volunteers and rangers are so helpful and friendly. It’s very easy to walk from Glacier Basin to the Park and Ride, which has excellent free shuttles to take you many places. Buses to Bear Lake, with many hiking options, from easy to challenging, leave about every 7 minutes. Depending on what you like, hiking, waterfalls, lakes, driving and viewing beautiful scenery, Rocky has it. The Moraine shuttle runs to other interesting places in the park, and leaves about every hour. The Moraine bus shuttle schedule was helpfully posted at every stop until July 7, when for some reason the park ordered that the times be erased, leaving riders with no schedule information! Since this bus runs about every hour, do you wait ten minutes? Or an hour? And do something else during this time? This was a very shortsighted decision, and I hope the park will post the scheduled times again as soon as possible.

Trails in the park are mostly well maintained. (Except where horses tear them up, unfortunately.) Rangers, camp hosts, volunteers, and bus drivers are happy to answer questions and give helpful suggestions based on individual preferences and abilities. A great place to camp and visit.

We stayed only one night but were thrilled to have a pair of deer pass through shortly after we had set up camp. The morning was chilly and no fires were permitted but the views and peacefulness of the site were well worth it.
