Bathrooms were VERY CLEAN, convenient, and NOT smelly at all. Location was really good for many things -- getting supplies in Gunnison, near the river and lake, and near to fuel. It was certainly the coldest overnight experience I've ever had (27 degrees F)!
The adjacent forest was a good place for our kids to play.
The Camp Hosts for the Pine Cone Loop side (Lottis Creek Campground has two separate sides) were very congenial, informative, and helpful.

Really nice campground that has a lot of shade and sites are spaced out. The vault toilets were very clean and water was easily accessible. The campground was super quiet and the electric hookups worked great!

Always a great time there. Camp host very involved and a great “people person”. Have camped there for years and will definitely continue to do so.

Nice little spot for tent camping. The host was very friendly and the facilities(pit tiolet) were probably some of the cleanest ive seen. Not a lot of privacy between the sites but it was peaceful and quiet while I Was there.

The water was cut off due to the drought is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. The RV camp sites were spread out, and the views of surrounding mountains are nice. There is stream/river fishing nearby.
