Camp hosts most excellent-5 stars
Campsites very clean
Beautiful spot especially if you’re on the river side
Don’t reserve by road unless you can turn off your hearing aids.
However, all the sites are very nice.
Just lots of road noise.
Still no water but rec gov states that

This is our favorite campground! Most of the camping spots are next to the Taylor river, and camp listening to the sounds of water is so peaceful! There is something to do for everyone all within a couple miles of camp: fish, hike, rock climb, mountain bike, or rafting. North 20 minutes you have beautiful Crested Butte with all its glorious lakes, trails, fun town, and cute mountain village area. South 20 minutes and you have Gunnison with cute little shops, good food, and bigger stores for resupplying. The camp hosts at this site are the best! They treat you like friends! They are also so kind, helpful, and accommodating! They really care about this camp and take such good care of it! This is why we come back, again and again!
