I worked for the forest service back in the early eighties as a firefighter out of lake George Colorado so I love going back to my old stomping grounds every year

Campground was nice as usual. Always fisherman's traffic, but that's why I was there. The bathrooms were not cleaned the three days we were there, the flypaper was completely covered and there were tons of flies. Had to hold the door open to allow the squadrons of flies out before I could enter. Was the worst I've seen there.

We enjoyed our stay . camp site was clean . Roomy . restrooms were clean just full of flys .. We stayed a river side camp ground . The fee was reasonable. Over all 9 n we will be back . Scenery was beautiful ❤️

From Lake George, turn off Highway 24 onto County Road 96. Follow the road for about one mile. Turn right at Eleven Mile Canyon entrance. Riverside Campground is located on the left side, not far from Eleven Mile Canyon entrance.
