If you take the time to book your reservation in an off week you will practically have the whole campground to yourself. Deb, the campground manager is a super helpful and friendly host. We were able to hike, fish and just hang out in a lovely peace getaway.

Stayed in Riverside Campground, site 9. Lots of space for 3 tents plus a canopy, and 2 vehicles. Bathrooms (vault toilets) kept very clean. Friendly campground host.

We stayed at Riverside a couple times this summer - hands down the best camp host I’ve ever met. They went out of their way to ensure the site was raked for trash, the pit toilets were clean, and they were very friendly. Riverside is a fun spot for families to play in the water!

Nice campground, but campsites are very close together. This campground is also next to a popular day use area, so don’t expect any semblance of privacy. We got woken up at 5 am by neighbors who didn’t follow quiet hours.

Getting There
From Lake George, turn off Highway 24 onto County Road 96. Follow the road for about one mile. Turn right at Eleven Mile Canyon entrance. Riverside Campground is located on the left side, not far from Eleven Mile Canyon entrance.
