The campgrounds were very clean! Bathrooms were orderly and had toilet paper. The Camp host was awesome! I wish I could remember his name. Very helpful.

Would like to see upgraded bathroom and water. Some sites don't really have camping pads.
Scenery is great.

The park itself and campsites are very nice. The reason I didn't have the best experience was because the fanily that was supposed to check out at noon so we could check in at 2pm was still there until 6pm. We sat aroubd and waited for them to leave. It began to rain, so they left. We then had to set up our tebt in the pouring rain. We made the best of it, but kind of bummed that we spent $30+ for a partial camping experience. The sites are beautiful and clean. They have a picnic table and firepit/bbq at the sites too, which was so nice for our burgers and smores! We will definitely be back because of how beautiful it is, but hopefully other families will be more considerate of the check out times.

They removed the bathroom at the start of the springer gulch campground. You may as well drive away from the pay campgrounds and camp for free up I believe it's called wagonton. Not worth it anymore unless you get a spot deep in springergulch where the bathroom and water are.

Stayed in site 11 on Aug. 4th. The site was well laid out for our camper van but didn't appear to be a great site for pitching a tent. The water from the pump was brown and we only used it for dousing our fire and cleaning dishes.
Other than that I really liked the site.

Springer Gulch is a beautiful area, however, it would be good to know that the rock formations surrounding the camp sites amplify all noises. This is a rustic campground with a hiking trail and river - best suited for shorter trailers or tents. I would have given a higher rating if there had been a camp host or if rangers would have checked the area during our stay.

The best camping spot, #1, at 11 mile canyon. However they took out the lower vault toilet. So plan ahead. We saw a mink by the river and a mama and baby moose walk right by the water pump in the campground. It does get crowded on weekends now a days.

Eleven Mile Canyon includes several developed campgrounds. It is in close proximity to several national monuments and state and national parks. The nearby town of Buena Vista is a must-see destination for great restaurants and other attractions.

First time tent camper at this spot, and I can't wait to come back in October. I personally think this is the best tent spot in the whole camp ground. I could hear the river, and it was utterly relaxing. Parking spot was very close to where you set up camp. Only downside is they took out the bathrooms that were closer to campsites 1-3, so you do have to go to the other bathroom in the campground maybe a 1/4 mile away. Sunset was absolutely stunning. Josh the camp host was excellent.
