What Guests Are Saying
White Star Campground is highly praised for its cleanliness, friendly camp hosts, and beautiful, well-maintained sites. Visitors enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, proximity to hiking trails, and stunning views, with many expressing a desire to return. While some noted noise from nearby roads and an increase in dog presence, these were minor concerns compared to the overall positive experience.

We enjoyed our stay so much in the Sage Loop that we changed our plans and were lucky enough to find space in the Ridge Loop. Well spaced, wide, level campsites. Great location between Bueno Vista and Leadville. Cheap sewer and water in Leadville. The views are amazing - 360 degrees of mountains.
