What Guests Are Saying
Transfer Campground is well-maintained and offers beautiful scenery, spacious sites, and friendly hosts. The facilities, including clean bathrooms and nearby hiking trails, enhance the experience. However, the campground is close to a busy road, has limited shade, and lacks trash service, so visitors should plan accordingly.

Campsites are confusing; i booked what I THOUGHT per the website was a 2 spot, but it only actually allowed 2 vehicles…well…I am using AND BOOKING the horse cg and 2 vehicles means to me 2 rigs. So we used an adjacent space that clearly appeared to be the 2nd space. The corrals were awesome. Access to trail heads excellent, this is a beautiful location. Thanks, hope to return in the future.

Amazing location, and the camp host was one of the nicest people we have ever met. He took great care in doing his job, and wanted to make sure you had an amazing stay! The toilets were cleaned EVERY day, to the point you couldn't tell they were pit toilets. His attention to detail was absolutely amazing!
The location was amazing as well. We woke on quite a few mornings to Mule Deer grazing by our site. We will definitely return.

Dan the camp host went above and beyond. Good facilities for our horses at the horse campground. Bathrooms were very clean. Numerous trails, never ending. Beautiful country.

The camp host, Dan, was excellent. He met us as soon as we were pulling up and gave us all the information we could need. He even had hand drawn maps for some of the bike trails if we wanted to do them.
The directions need to be updated on the app and was difficult to find proper direction but once we had them it was a nice long gravel drive with an amazing scenic view right before the campground.

Dan is an AMAZING host! The campsites are impeccably clean. He has successfully balanced his hospitality with allowing us privacy. The campground is beautiful and the area is wonderfully relaxing. The bathrooms were clean and fresh- it was hard to believe they were pit toilets and used so frequently.
My only frustration is with the fire rings in the main campground- they are too tall which means a larger fire needs to be built to enjoy it. This seems to contradict the idea of making them safer by preventing sparks. Also, the air holes are halfway up the fire ring instead of down at the base. Fires need oxygen.
