I was a little skeptical with regard to Ansel Watrous campground as we pulled in. The campground is RIGHT off the main road, my fear being that is all we would hear. I was plesantly surprised!! Even with the road so close, what you mainly hear is the river behind you. There was plenty of shade and my husband and son were able to do plenty of river fishing the entire time. The location is not too far for us to repeat a quick visit again in the future. I would recommend this site for sure.

It was very relaxing and wonderful. The storms and the blue sky shining through was like nothing I never experienced before. I hope to make it back some day.
