Week days are best for less crowds, Clean and well spaced sites, Great Camp Host's, Beautiful Mountain lake, Not much social distancing though and few masks were seen, some bugs i.e. mosquitoes, biting flies and pine beetles, Weather can change quickly, other than that a nice well kept campground...

Always a fun and beautiful time. Get your wood once you’re there, there is plenty and this prevents the spread of invasive species. The campground staff is amazing, friendly and kept us safe by cleaning the cites and facilities; thank you so much!

One of our favorite places to camp! It's very important to be bear-aware here. The campsite provides bear boxes and a conscientious campsite user will not have any problems. Bathrooms are clean and well-kept. Beautiful hiking nearby. Make sure to check out the little one-mile trail back to a waterfall that starts from the campground. It's a magical hike.

A nice campground but always full. It is well kept. The bathrooms are kept clean and the lake is nice. There is a swing set and slide for kids but it could use some maintenance. It is large enough that you can go for a walk and paved so kids could ride there bikes with supervision. There is a lot of traffic so you would have to be very careful. Too bad it’s such a heavily used campground. It is hard to get reservations there.

There was some good fishing. The campsites and restrooms were clean. There was a bear active in the area and one got a large cooler from the site next to us one night which added some unexpected excitement to the trip. We would go again!
