Chambers Lake

One of our favorite places to camp! It's very important to be bear-aware here. The campsite provides bear boxes and a conscientious campsite user will not have any problems. Bathrooms are clean and well-kept. Beautiful hiking nearby. Make sure to check out the little one-mile trail back to a waterfall that starts from the campground. It's a magical hike.

Nice spots to park, people respectful, beautiful lake, good fishing.

A nice campground but always full. It is well kept. The bathrooms are kept clean and the lake is nice. There is a swing set and slide for kids but it could use some maintenance. It is large enough that you can go for a walk and paved so kids could ride there bikes with supervision. There is a lot of traffic so you would have to be very careful. Too bad it’s such a heavily used campground. It is hard to get reservations there.

There was some good fishing. The campsites and restrooms were clean. There was a bear active in the area and one got a large cooler from the site next to us one night which added some unexpected excitement to the trip. We would go again!

We really enjoy Chambers Lake. We like the lake of course an added plus are the trees throughout the park. The sites are nicely placed throughout. The only draw back is the distance to groceries and wi-fi. The wi-fi is kind of a catch 22. I'm happy not to have it and disconnect. There have been sometimes I've needed it and had to travel quite a ways to connect.

Facilities were well kept.
