This is a nice campground with clean toilets, easy parking, great access to the lake, and to hiking.

The lake was drained a few weeks before we got there but no communication was sent to us letting us know. I received an email a week before going telling us know that the lake was at lower levels but not drained. Very upset that we were not notified so we could change our location and go somewhere that had water to fish and enjoy. Felt like we were lied to in keeping these reservations and being swindled for money at a campsite nobody wanted to be at. Campsite was cleaned and organized, and the camp host was great.

The lake was dried up when we got there and we were unaware we left the same night we had arrived.

This campground doesn't overcrowd the sites. Plenty of space to not have neighbors close by. Nice central location even though the lake level was low. Keep an eye on that if you want to stay here in the future. Otherwise really nice and we would stay again.

Went in late September so many nearby sites were empty which was nice. Campsite and restrooms were clean. However, noise from Highway 14 was loud and constant. Didn't realize how close Site 10 was to Hwy 14 when we booked. Otherwise a great stay.

Have stayed here before and campsite and bathroom clean. The fire pit was excessively full and we had to empty as well as the grill.
There was no camp host our entire stay as it looked they had left for the season.

The lake is almost completely drained. I received a warning that the lake level was low and water access was limited βin some places.β There is a small section of the lake left undrained, however you have to walk half a mile through dry lake and cross a stream to get to it. We brought paddle boards, others at the campground brought kayaks, but nobody was out on the βlake.β
