We stayed in site 27 and although the reservation confirmation states "Please be advised: this site has the potential of water accumulation from rain or snow" the accumulation from water was a lot, around 5 inches. I'm thinking this site could be fixed to not accumulate so much water. We had to leave early as the site was a muddy mess. We do love camping at Chambers Lake, just not in the water.

Great site, the toilets were kept very clean, it's close to the lake, and there is plenty of shade. We love camping here

Site 36 was perfect for us- the view was incredible, we were close enough to the restroom. Wonderful experience!

Have been coming to Chambers Lake campground for many years . Love the roomy campsites and views of the lake . Enjoyed the cooler weather . Usually the bathrooms are very clean , but this year not so . Hosts were gone for several days during the week we were there . Their sign said “off duty”. At least we had a bathroom in our camper to use . We still will be back , it’s a beautiful area . !!

Unfortunately, we did not receive the message about the boat be closed because of low wire levels and this was the second year in a row. We did a camping trip hoping to paddleboard that was a flop. I hope they get things figured out. Definitely would’ve stayed somewhere else if I had known how low the water was and how muddy it would be to get near the water.

Overall, this campground is fantastic! I camped here as a kid and it did not disappoint 30 years later! The new hosts were really nice and the campsites/bathrooms were clean. We had sites 39 and 40.
My only complaint is that site 39 is less than 50 feet from the bathrooms which is not how it appears on the site map. While it was nice to be close for my kiddos, having people be around our site to use the bathroom was not the best. I would highly recommend site 40. Gorgeous views of the lake, spacious, and well situated for privacy. Both sites were a quick walk to the lake to fish, swim, and kayak. This campground is definitely one of the best in the area.

Camp host was poor as condition in campground showed. Signs all leaning over, signs you can’t read due to fade, and of course lake is about dry. Should be half price at best.
