The campsite and facilities were great. The Lake part of Chambers Lake was non existent. We should have done our homework, but a heads up that the lake was dry would have had us camp at another spot. Will be back, sure it’s pretty amazing with water in it.

The lake is drained so no paddle boarding and no fishing. Also much of the area was burned in the fire a few years ago so not super green. The host is ok though not willing to refund us or let us cancel through him.

Chambers lake is out of water, the boat dock is dry. The campground is nice and well maintained but when we visited in July the lake was pretty much empty.

Stayed at Chambers Lake even though I was advised by Recreation.gov emails that the lake levels were "low". The lake was actually drained. This was a major disappointment as this was planned as a kayaking trip. Aside from that the campground is a great place to hang out. Stayed on site 49 which is on a ridge overlooking the "lake" about a 50 yard walk from the parking area. Nice spacing between sites on this part of the peninsula that juts out into the lake.

Beautiful campground and nice location close to lots of good hiking trails. Lake was very low, almost empty, during our visit. We’d love to go back when the lake is at anormal level.

No water in the lake next to CG, and warning should have been sent out to campers last spring so we could alter our plans.

No water in lake next to campground. Also, it was very difficult to access the remaining water. Poor communications with campers. We were not informed about the low lake levels until just a couple of weeks before our reservations.

Was very disappointed about the lake being completely dried up. We didnt receive notice about it until after we had already booked and no time to find a new camp site.
The notice said lake levels may be low in some areas, but we walked all the way down and around and the ENTIRE thing was dried up to nothing but a stream.
Other than that, the campground was well maintained and other campers were respectful of noise for the most part, but there was a group campsite that was loud well past 11pm.
