The lake was dried up when we got there and we were unaware we left the same night we had arrived.

This campground doesn't overcrowd the sites. Plenty of space to not have neighbors close by. Nice central location even though the lake level was low. Keep an eye on that if you want to stay here in the future. Otherwise really nice and we would stay again.

Went in late September so many nearby sites were empty which was nice. Campsite and restrooms were clean. However, noise from Highway 14 was loud and constant. Didn't realize how close Site 10 was to Hwy 14 when we booked. Otherwise a great stay.

Have stayed here before and campsite and bathroom clean. The fire pit was excessively full and we had to empty as well as the grill.
There was no camp host our entire stay as it looked they had left for the season.

The lake is almost completely drained. I received a warning that the lake level was low and water access was limited “in some places.” There is a small section of the lake left undrained, however you have to walk half a mile through dry lake and cross a stream to get to it. We brought paddle boards, others at the campground brought kayaks, but nobody was out on the “lake.”

The campsite and facilities were great. The Lake part of Chambers Lake was non existent. We should have done our homework, but a heads up that the lake was dry would have had us camp at another spot. Will be back, sure it’s pretty amazing with water in it.

The lake is drained so no paddle boarding and no fishing. Also much of the area was burned in the fire a few years ago so not super green. The host is ok though not willing to refund us or let us cancel through him.
