Hosts were excellent. Wonderful people, worked hard, kept the vault toilets very clean, and cared for the entire campground with great care.

Beautiful, well maintained campground on a beautiful lake, but very busy with many tenters travelling in and out.

The camp host(Steve) was very accommodating when we had to move sites. They had to charge us for the change but communicated well and made sure we were able to get a site that worked for us.
The place is beautiful, and other than a lack of fish I have no notes!

We stayed in site 4. It is a nice site with RV parking and a nice tent pad on the far side of the picnic table and has plenty of shade. It is a large site with plenty of room. The campground is large but nice with privacy from other campers. The bathrooms are kept fairly clean with deoderizer in them. The camp hosts do a fine job of keeping the campground up and running efficiently so all campers can enjoy their stay.

It was a messy campground. Trees were down from a fire from 5 years ago. The drainage was not taken care of and caused ponding and mosquitoes. Overall poorly maintained.
Our site was supposed to be a double site. we eventually got both trailers on the site. It took great effort while traffic was backing up on the campground drive and once the trailers were situated , we created a maze between the trailers. One trailer was 30’ and the other was 24’. Both of which were supposed to fit.

Chambers Lake is one of our favorites. Campground is excellent. Lake lends itself to fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc. Minimal bugz in mid-June - no juice needed on this trip. Toilet facilities are clean. In fact, entire park is very clean. However, the park is showing signs of 'neglect'. I say that in quotes because I'm not sure the reason is the fault of the local staff. Rather, I believe it's due to inadequate funding. In any event, signage is wearing out to the point you can't read it. No more recycling collection. The old trail shown on the map is very abbreviated now due to deadfall - USFS is no longer maintaining it. The bridge over the creek is missing a railing in places. Haven't seen a Ranger-led talk at the amphitheater in ages. Despite these issues, I want to emphasize that Chambers is a wonderful asset nevertheless. We have regularly gone there and will continue to do so.

Spot 23 was very beautiful, however it was barley big enough for our little 19 foot trailer. Very difficult to back into.

The campground was beautiful.
Staying mid-week at the end of the season meant that a lot of sites were empty giving us the feel of having the forest to ourselves.
The hosts were good and friendly, but not obtrusive.
The Blue Lake trail, just a few miles outside the campground, was beautiful.
We had some difficulty backing up our truck and trailer into site #5 as the road turns sharply right there. I wish there was a way to see these things from the map when we are making reservations.
No cell phone reception in the campground or anywhere nearby.
