This is a beautiful campground with poor management. The campground hosts, who are employees of a private concessionaire, ran their generators all night. I was camped next to the hosts and this constant noise really detracted from the natural beauty. Otherwise the campground is very nice, with spots spaced out. Plan to camp far away from the camphost spots.

Really nice campground. Lots of trees and shade. I liked that the road in the campground is paved -- no dust! We were near the boat launch and had a great view of the lake. Would go back again.

We had a great stay at Chambers Lake Campground. We were there for a week, and enjoyed fishing and relaxing with amazing views. Although it rained every day, it was still worth the trip. Additionally, the hosts were wonderful. They made sure that everything was in ideal condition, they were extremely friendly, and we look forward to seeing them on our next trip.

If you wan to get away from it all, this is a great spot. I suspect that when the lake is full of spring melt, there is lots of fun to be had with water sports, but I was there in August. So, just lots of quiet relaxation.

Nice view of part of the lake from the campsite. Calm quiet cove by the boat ramp for paddle boarding. Not crowded on a Tuesday and very peaceful and quiet.

The lake is amazing! Great place for paddle boarding. Plenty of space between campsites.
Getting a camper into them can be a little tricky

Though a large part of the surrounding forest is burned, we were delighted at the amount of life all around! From all the insects, vast of wildflowers,to the numerous baby frogs, fish, and deer- we were in awe!! The campground is absolutely stunning especially on the higher numbered sites near the water. It’s very clean and well taken care of. The camp hosts were so kind and we had an amazing first trip there with our family and little ones. We can’t wait to go back next year!
